One of our biggest achievements in 2024 has been the increased reliability of our electric system. Thanks to investments in technology, including the installation of advanced control equipment along with the dedication, training, and growing field expertise of our line crews, we’ve seen fewer outages and better response times. Every day, our crews improve their familiarity with the system and build on their experience, helping ensure that when outages do occur, restoration happens quickly and safely. Additionally, our right-of-way program has played a crucial role in decreasing outage duration by keeping power lines clear of vegetation and other obstructions.

As a result, our SAIDI score, which calculates the average total duration of power outages for the average customer and is commonly measured in minutes of interruption per year, was down 10%, which is over 27 minutes less compared to 2023.
