Each year, South River EMC offers a scholarship opportunity to students living in the South River EMC area.
A committee reviewed applications and selected three students to receive the $1,000 scholarship.
Michelle Cinto-Aldana, daughter of Byron Cinto Hernandez and Ana Aldana Campos of Clinton, will graduate from Hobbton High with plans to attend North Carolina State to receive a degree in Psychology.
Dominique Dipre, daughter of Eulogio Dipre and Erika Caldera, of Godwin, will graduate from Midway High with plans to attend Methodist University to obtain a degree in Biology.
Mallory Edwards, daughter of Danny and Angela Edwards of Clinton, will graduate from Mintz Christian Academy, with plans to attend Campbell University for a double major in English and History.
