A Proud 87-Year Legacy and A Successful Annual Meeting

Randolph Electric hosted its 87th Annual Meeting on June 20 at Southwestern Randolph High School, drawing a lively crowd of 789 members and guests. With 315 attending in person and 474 registering online, members came together to take part in cooperative business, electing directors, reviewing financials and hearing updates on REMC’s progress.

“As we celebrated our 87th anniversary, we reflected with pride on REMC’s legacy and looked ahead with a clear focus forward,” said CEO Dennis Mabe. “Since 1938, our member-owners have been at the heart of everything we do.”

The meeting wasn’t all business, members enjoyed high-energy entertainment from country artist Brandon Davis, exciting kids’ activities and a cool treat on a hot day courtesy of Gilbert’s Old Fashioned Ice Cream. It was a day of community, celebration and shared purpose.
