Brunswick Electric

Current Board of Directors

With the recent retirements of three of Brunswick Electric’s directors, the board and management took a hard look at the districts and realized it was time to make some changes. The original lines were drawn decades ago and a lot has changed since then. The new structure will help ensure all members have an equal voice while moving BEMC’s board closer to state and national averages for electric cooperatives across the country.

BEMC recently reduced and reorganized the number of districts and board members from 13 to 11.

A note about the “open” district on the map. District One is not up for election in 2019. Per BEMC bylaws, a new director will be appointed to finish out the retired director’s term for District One.
