Thanks to much more favorable merchant fee rates, Tideland members may once again use American Express credit cards for electric bill payments.
Tideland’s billing software vendor successfully negotiated transaction fees, which are expected to save the co-op $25,000 annually.
Members can pay by credit card multiple ways:
- Monthly draft
- Online member portal
- Mobile app
- Automated phone system: 800.882.1001
- In person at any of Tideland’s four offices
Reminder: Individual credit card transactions are capped at $1,500 each, regardless of card type. The minimum credit card transaction is $10.00.
