Doors to the arena open and member registration begins at 5 p.m., with vendor exhibits and catered meal available. The business meeting will begin promptly at 7 p.m.

Look for your Annual Meeting registration card and official meeting notice on the cover wrap of the October issue of Carolina Country magazine. Please bring this card with you to help expedite the registration process.

The Business Meeting

The business portion of the meeting will include updates on the progress of Four County EMC over the past year. Members will hear reports on financial performance, cooperative programs, and upcoming initiatives. The meeting will also include the election of three directors to the Four County EMC Board.

Board Elections

In accordance with Four County EMC’s bylaws, a Nominating Committee is appointed prior to the Annual Meeting to nominate candidates for any expiring board seats.

The 2025 Nominating Committee includes:

• East Bladen District – Kenneth Thornton, Jr.
• At-Large – Clayton Hollingsworth

The Nominating Committee has put forward the following nominees:

These candidates will be presented for member vote at the Annual Meeting on Monday, Oct. 6, 2025.

Proxy Voting

If you are unable to attend the meeting, you can still participate in the election by using a proxy form. Proxy forms will be printed on the reverse side of your registration card, included on the cover wrap of the October Carolina Country magazine.

Each residential member may vote in person and cast one proxy vote on behalf of another residential member, plus one additional proxy vote on behalf of a church, business, or organization if they are the authorized representative.

To assign your proxy:

• Complete the information on the back of your registration card, including the name of the person receiving your proxy
• Sign and date the form
• Have a witness sign the form
