Does your produce travel too far?

Buying produce locally means it is fresher and you help support local farmers. The N.C. Environmental Education office has free postcards that promote buying local produce for distribution at farmers markets, local shops and other sites. You can order them online and they will be sent to you free of charge. You can also request a print-ready version of the front of the postcard to use in your own publications by e-mailing diane.rodman@ncdenr.gov.
