As many of you know, Donnie Spivey has led Pee Dee Electric with wisdom, compassion, and unwavering dedication for more than two decades. Under his leadership, our cooperative has grown stronger, expanded its capabilities, and continued to provide safe, reliable and affordable power to more than 22,000 members across our service area. Donnie’s steady hand and deep understanding of cooperative principles have set an example for all of us who serve. I am truly grateful for his mentorship and the culture of care and excellence he has fostered throughout our organization.

While change is a natural part of any organization’s story, our foundation remains firm. Pee Dee Electric’s mission to serve our members with excellence and to improve the quality of life in the communities we power will continue to guide every decision we make. As we look ahead, we are navigating an evolving energy landscape marked by new technologies, shifting member expectations, and opportunities to enhance the way we provide service.

My vision is to lead with a steady balance of innovation and tradition, embracing new solutions while staying grounded in the cooperative values that have defined Pee Dee Electric since its founding. Together with our talented employees and dedicated Board, I am committed to ensuring that our members remain at the heart of all we do. Whether through investments in reliability, expanded member engagement, or strategic planning for the future, our focus will always be on better serving you.

I would also like to thank my wife, Alyx, and our children, Conley and Hudson, for their constant love, patience, and encouragement. Their unwavering support allows me to give my best each day to our members and employees. The sacrifices they make and the understanding they show remind me daily of what it means to serve with purpose.
