Hurricane Florence Recovery Highlighted at ECU Game

ECU Game

Several linemen from hard-hit co-ops near ECU were recognized during an on-field ball presentation. In addition, the video above was shown during the game paid tribute to the strength, resilience and hard work of everyone impacted by Florence.

“While no one wants to go through a hurricane like this, it’s inspiring to see everyone join together to rebuild and bring our communities back stronger than ever,” said Tri-County EMC CEO Mike Davis. “We’re proud that the electric cooperatives can be part of this effort and that we can continue to serve members and communities following this devastating storm.”

—Lisa Crawley, North Carolina’s Electric Cooperatives
