Last summer, Pamela Johnson, a math teacher of academically or intellectually gifted students at Parkwood Middle School in the Union County Public Schools system, spent three weeks at Monroe-based Union Power Cooperative as a 2019–20 Kenan Fellow (see “Local Teacher Gets Hands-On Experience at Union Power,” November 2019, page 6).
