This special event is designed to engage attendees through educational opportunities focused on energy management, energy efficiency and valuable community resources. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with Lumbee River EMC representatives, as well as a variety of external agencies and community organizations that specialize in energy programs and other support services available throughout our service territory.

Participants will also be able to explore practical tools, resources and programs designed to help reduce energy consumption, improve home comfort and lower utility costs.

A key focus of the event is the Energy Saver NC Program. It helps income eligible houseowners & renters improve their homes energy efficiency through a variety of energy-saving upgrades and improvements. Weather permitting, one of the event’s most anticipated attractions will be the return of the Touchstone Hot Air Balloon. A crowd favorite at last year’s event, the balloon drew significant interest and excitement, and we look forward to bringing this unique experience back for attendees to enjoy once again.
