Absentee voting by mail begins September 9 (if absentee voting is permitted in municipality).Register to vote in North Carolina by October 14, 2016 to make your voice heard on Election Day.
Register online at ncsbe.gov/voter-info. Voter registration applications also are available at the following locations:
- Public libraries, public high schools and college admissions offices
- NC State Board of Elections
- County Boards of Elections
