Smiling faces = good memories

After 25 years of play, the playhouse my father, George Daniels, originally built in 1990 for my sister Jeanette and me is still holding up great. He hand-built it, and we brushed it with a red coat of paint. My father passed away in 2012, and I was given the old rundown playhouse for my two daughters, Evie and Ollie Rae. My husband added a porch, windows and siding, while my daughters got to brush the door and roof with a new coat of paint. Seeing their faces excited for their new play home, which I hope to see on many generations to come, brought back many memories.
