Stronger Together: The Power of Partnership

ECCLESIASTES 4:9-10
“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up the other…”

Jon T. Locklear, President & CEO

At the cooperative, we are never meant to do the work alone. Whether it’s restoring power after a storm, expanding broadband to reach underserved areas or supporting our communities through programs and partnerships—our strength comes from working together.

This scripture reminds us that partnership is not just helpful—it’s essential. When challenges arise, having someone beside you makes the load lighter and the path forward clearer. In the cooperative world, that “someone” takes many forms: fellow employees, leadership, community partners, and most importantly, our members.

As we go about our work, let us remember that every connection we build strengthens the foundation of our mission. Because when we stand together, serve together and lift one another up—we truly live out what it means to be a cooperative.
