Martha Bassett’s pristine voice rings true in “The Plow,” an articulate song that explores darkness and new birth. Martha’s bandmates include Pat Lawrence (bass, vocals), Sarah Howell-Miller (keyboards, percussion, vocals), Alex McKinney (dobro), Russell Kelly (guitar), and Fiona Burdette (cello, mandolin).

Classical trained, Bassett grew up singing hymns in a church choir.
