We are blessed with such a lovely variety of birds here in this part of the state. Last spring, we enjoyed a very special treat when a pair of bluebirds took up residence in a log cabin birdhouse in our front yard. We watched them come and go many times as they made the perfect nest inside. I photographed them a number of times but this image turned out to be my absolute favorite. I love how the male bluebird’s full wingspan is on display. Just such gorgeous creatures.
