The Heafner Williams Vocal Competition was founded by Carolyn Heafner Williams and the late, Robert Williams. Students of the vocal performing arts from North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia competing for scholarships to further their training.The Semi-finals begin at 11 am on March 29 and the Finals begin at 3 pm on March 30 with a reception to follow the awards presentation. There is no charge to attend the competition and enjoy the performances. The competition is hosted by the Lincoln Cultural Center, 403 East Main Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092
