2026 Elizabeth City Hot Cocoa Crawl
Warm up your winter while supporting local businesses during the 2026 Elizabeth City Hot Cocoa Crawl! From November 27, 2026, through January 31, 2027, explore participating restaurants, cafés, shops, attractions and other local businesses offering a special featured item.
Featured items aren’t limited to drinks—you’ll discover cocoa-inspired treats, seasonal gifts, stocking stuffers, festive experiences and plenty of holiday surprises along the way.
How It Works
Register for the free digital Hot Cocoa Crawl passport.
Visit a participating business and purchase its designated featured item.
Use your phone’s location services to check in while at the business.
Upload a clear photo of your receipt to verify the qualifying purchase.
Complete eight qualifying purchases at eight different businesses to earn an official Hot Cocoa Crawl long-sleeve T-shirt while supplies last.
Participants can also complete optional bonus activities, earn points and badges, share festive photos and follow the leaderboard. After completing eight stops, keep exploring to earn additional points and discover even more local favorites!
Look for the official Hot Cocoa Crawl flag at participating locations.
Please note: Each business sets its own operating hours, pricing and featured-item availability. Some participating offers may end January 3, so check the digital passport for individual stop details before visiting. Completion rewards are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
