Do you have an old piece of Jugtown or NC pottery that you’d like to learn more about? Bring it to Jugtown to be identified during this fun event! Pottery scholar Steve Compton and the Owens family will be discussing pots, and Steve will be available for book signing. We will also have new pieces available from a firing of our Groundhog Kiln, with pieces in Salt Glaze, Frogskin, and Copper Glazes.
Jugtown will be open 8:30 – 5:00, and Pottery ID will be 10:00-12:00 & 1:00-3:00.
