PlantFest, a big plant sale and garden festival, will be hosted by the Master Gardener volunteers of Orange County on Oct. 5, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., at 1020 US Hwy 70 West, Hillsborough, NC 27278 (across from the DMV). Fun for all! You’ll find kids activities, gardening exhibits and demonstrations, free seeds, a nature art sale, tool sharpening and food! The plant sale will feature many native plants that are hard to find in local nurseries.
