Please come out and help us celebrate the US 250 birthday event on July 25, 2026, in downtown Aurora, NC. The day will start at 9:30 am with a parade, followed with opening ceremonies, live music and performances, historical programs, carnival rides, food trucks and local vendors, black powder musket and canon fire at an encampment and finishing the day at dusk with a Drone show. There is something for everyone. Aurora may be small, but our spirit is mighty! Lets celebrate the past, embrace the future and create history together!
