This Month’s Issue: Youth Tour Adventures

For more than 50 years, North Carolina’s electric cooperatives have been sponsoring the annual Youth Tour, an opportunity for high schoolers from around the state to visit Washington, D.C., to see the sights and meet with elected officials. We’ve been wanting to feature Youth Tourists on our cover since 2020, but unfortunately the pandemic made it necessary to host virtual events over the past two years. This year they were back in D.C. to make new friends and create lifelong memories. Learn more »
