Eli Goldman, West Stanly Middle School
A West Stanly Middle School student, Eli Goldman, has been awarded a scholarship to attend the Carolina Basketball School at UNC-Chapel Hill. Eli has been playing basketball since elementary school and loves to learn new positions, while making new friends on the court. Ultimately, his goal is to play basketball at UNC-Chapel Hill someday. Milli Furr, a North Stanly Middle School student, was awarded a scholarship to attend the Wolfpack Women’s Basketball camp at NC State. She is excited to learn from the coaches and improve her shooting and ball-handling skills, and eager to meet new people during the camp. According to Milli, attending this camp will be an unforgettable memory, as it will be her first overnight camp experience.
Cora Faust, Gray Stone Day School
Cora Faust, a Gray Stone Day School student, has been selected to participate in the Women’s Basketball Camp at NC State. She enjoys playing basketball because it challenges her and allows her to take on leadership skills to become a better leader for her team. Cora is a huge admirer of NC State and aspires to continue her family’s tradition of attending, with the dream of playing for the team.

The scholarships cover all expenses at overnight camps, where campers will experience life on a college campus. They will receive one-on-one training with the coaches, learn fundamental and life skills, and make new friendships. Congratulations to our winners, and thank you to everyone who applied.
