Training Opportunities at Local Community Colleges

- James Sprunt Community College (JSCC): Offers a 14-week Electrical Lineworker Training Program that includes Basic Line Construction, Electrical Theory, OSHA 10 Certification, First Aid/CPR, and NC Flagger Certification. Classes are held at the WestPark Campus in Warsaw, with winter classes running 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. and spring/summer classes running 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
- Cape Fear Community College: Provides a 10-week Electrical Lineworker Training Program focusing on practical skills like setting and climbing poles, installing cross arms, and ensuring safety in team operations.
- Bladen Community College: Offers an Electrical Systems Technology program, training students in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems maintenance and installation.
