Every year, the co-op awards a $2,000 scholarship to a high school senior in each of Brunswick and Columbus County high schools. Applications are available in mid-December, and the deadline to apply is mid-March. More information is available at bemc.org.

Miguel Andrade Dominguez will attend East Carolina University to study criminal justice and criminology. He is from Clarkton.
Brunswick County Early College High School
Kaleigh Aull will attend NC State University to study English. She is from Sunset Beach.
South Brunswick High School
Piper Geddings will attend UNC Wilmington to study biology. She is from Southport.
South Columbus High School
William Price will attend UNC Pembroke with a focus on vocal music. He is from Whiteville.
North Brunswick High School
Hailey Meyers will attend the University of South Carolina with a focus on the biological sciences. She is from Winnabow.
West Brunswick High School
Gavin Caison will attend East Carolina University to study construction management. He is from Shallotte.
West Columbus High School
Jonas Anderson will attend NC State University to study forest management. He is from Tabor City.
