What if one application could take you beyond the classroom and into an experience you’ll remember long after graduation? The Electric Cooperative Youth Tour gives high school juniors the chance to step outside their everyday routine, meet students from across the country, explore new places, and see firsthand how government and the electric cooperative industry work together.
Applications are now open for the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour! Selected students will travel on an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C., from June 17-23, 2027. Students will explore our nation’s capital while learning more about legislation, the cooperative difference, and the people who help shape our country.
“Representing Union Power in our nation’s capital was an amazing experience. One of the highlights of this trip was meeting with legislators at the Capitol, which gave me a firsthand look at the connection between electric cooperatives and the democratic process. I encourage other rising seniors to apply and take advantage of this life-changing opportunity!” said Gloria Gao, a 2026 Youth Tour delegate.
Attention juniors!
This is your opportunity to take your passion beyond the classroom and experience government in action. Learn more and submit your application by Dec. 31, 2026.
