“Hustle”

One of 10 songs on this singer-songwriter’s newest album, the righteous, funky “Hustle” is about getting up every day and never quitting. Rebekah grew up in the small town of Benson, where her musician father taught her to play an acoustic Washburn guitar. Since receiving her bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from East Carolina University (where she was a radio DJ), she has devoted her life to performing on the road. She is based in Wilmington. The album “Crooked Lines” was recorded at Osceola Studios in Raleigh. Rebekah was accompanied by Joe MacPhail (keys), Chad Lister (bass), Archie Logan (drums), Darnell “Showcase” Taylor (guitar), and Marcus Anderson (horns).
