Reclaimed & Reused

New Window Views

Mary Zio's window art

I am an artist working in many mediums, one of my favorites is transforming old windows into art. The windows are in pretty rough shape when I find them, layers upon layers of peeling paint, broken panes, rotted wood and chipped glazing. I clean them up, prepare them, and turn them into new artworks! My reclaimed windows can be seen at Phthalo Blue Art Gallery in Ocean Isle Beach.
