This year, two high school students representing Randolph EMC’s service area joined other delegates sponsored by electric cooperatives nationwide. During the week, they explored the nation’s capital, toured historic landmarks and monuments, visited museums and met with national leaders to gain a deeper understanding of American history, government and public service. The experience encourages students to develop their leadership skills while learning how their voices and actions can positively impact their communities and shape the future.

Delegates are selected based on their academic achievement, community involvement and demonstrated leadership potential. Randolph EMC is proud to sponsor two students each year, providing them with this unique opportunity to broaden their horizons, build lifelong friendships and return home inspired to make a difference in their schools and communities.
