Our impact goes beyond delivering power; we are committed to educating, engaging, and protecting the communities we serve every day, strengthening the places we live and work through outreach, awareness and service.
Inspiring The Next Generation
We connect with students through career fairs across our service area, sharing opportunites within the electric co-op industry and helping build the future workforce.
Educating Through Experience
Our live line demonstrations provide a real-world look at how electricity works and the dangers it can present, creating hands on learning experiences.
Promoting Safety Everyday
Through school visits, community events and outreach, we are committed to helping our members stay informed and safe around electricity.
Youth Tour
McKenzie Collins represented REMC at the Rural Electric Youth Tour in Washington, D.C. During the trip, McKenzie visited Capitol Hill, met with several of NC’s congressional leaders and toured D.C.’s famous monuments and museums.
