June right-of-way maintenance schedule

During June, Gunnison will finish trimming in the Manns Harbor area. They will then move on to the Engelhard circuit in Hyde County.

Lee Electric line construction crews will be proactively changing out aging poles throughout the Grantsboro operational district.

A second Lee crew will be working on pole changeouts at Ocracoke. They will arrive on the island in mid-June. There will be brief power outages and road closures during that time. That work will conclude in July.

Be sure to give all utility crews and contractors wide berth when approaching them on public roadways.

Reminder

Always call 8-1-1 before you start any construction or excavation project to have all utility lines properly identified and marked.
