Winning Washington

Aditi Rajesh, Benjamin Green and Gloria Gao will be attending the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour.

From Union County to the nation’s capital, three remarkable students are gearing up for an unforgettable experience through the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour. This all-expense-paid educational trip takes high school students to Washington, D.C., where they join peers from across the country to explore historic landmarks, visit museums, and meet elected officials.

Along the way, they will gain a deeper understanding of how government and electric cooperatives operate. They will also build leadership skills and form connections with other students who share a passion for civic engagement and their communities. Union Power delegates, Gloria Gao, Benjamin Green, and Aditi Rajesh are gearing up for the trip of a lifetime
