MPO's Back to the 80s

Join MPO on a musical journey through time on May 18th, 7pm, R E Lee Auditorium at Pinecrest High School. Our historical tour begins in the 1780s, featuring classical compositions from Mozart and Hadyn. We continue to the late romantic period of the 1880s, a perfect place to see Carnival of the Animals, Dance of the Tumblers, and The Mikado! Our final stop brings us to the 20th century, where we can reminisce on contemporary favorites from the musicals Cats, Les Miserables, and Phantom of the Opera! Admission is by donation of choice - any amount is greatly appreciated. Proceeds from our concerts fund our scholarship programs, music, operating expenses, and more. Be sure to stop by our merchandise tables in the lobby to take part in our annual spring basket raffle. Lobby doors open at 6pm, seating begins at 6:30pm.
