Pee Dee Electric Celebrates the 2021 Bright Ideas Winners - Carolina Country
December 2021

In October, Pee Dee Electric surprised nine local K-12 educators who won Bright Ideas Education Grants for the 2021-2022 school year.

These grants are awarded annually to innovative educators to provide funding for hands-on learning, projects that would otherwise go unfunded. Pee Dee Electric awarded $14,000 to fund a total of eight different projects throughout our service area. More than 1,000 students across all grade levels and subject areas in Anson, Richmond, Scotland, and Stanly counties will benefit from these grants. The Bright Ideas grant program is part of our ongoing commitment to community and education.
