That’s why we’re excited to announce that Pee Dee Electric is joining the Connect to Save program alongside electric cooperatives across our state. Connect to Save’s smart thermostat installation program is a partnership between you and your electric cooperative, offering energy solutions that benefit your home and the entire community. By participating in Connect to Save, you gain access to benefits like deeply discounted smart home devices, free professional installation, and annual participation rewards. Winter months often result in higher energy bills, so now is the opportune time to consider making low-cost improvements like weather-stripping doors and caulking windows. If you find yourself uncertain about where to start, Pee Dee Electric’s Energy Use Advisor, Todd Moore, is available for home energy assessments to assist with recommendations specific to your home’s energy needs.

Furthermore, we extend a helping hand through various programs, including energy efficiency loans, rebates for eligible water heaters and heat pumps, as well as incentives and time-of-use rates for electric vehicles. All these initiatives are centered on aiding you in reducing your energy expenses.
