Union Power is offering 10 outstanding students from our five-county service area—Union, Stanly, Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, and Rowan counties—a $1,000 college scholarship each.
To qualify for the scholarship, you must . . .
- Be a child of a Union Power Cooperative member or live in a home served by Union Power Cooperative.
- Be a high school senior in the current graduating class.
- Meet the criteria of 40% need, 30% scholastic achievement, and 30% extracurricular activities in school, civic, and community functions.
- Must attend a North Carolina-accredited college or university.
