Each April we explore travel destinations around the state, and this year—since North Carolina is celebrating the Year of the Trail—we’re heading into the woods. Whether your outdoor interests lie in forests, along rivers and beaches, or in gardens, there should be a worthy destination (along with some trail tips) for you.
