Pee Dee Electric, headquartered in Lilesville, NC, distributes Carolina Country magazine each month as a benefit of membership. The cooperative is a not-for-profit electric distribution utility, owned by the consumers it serves and guided by a democratically elected board of directors. It serves members in Anson, Richmond, Montgomery, Scotland, Moore, Stanly and Union counties.
